On 10th of August – the first day the refugees could cross. Rene Kristo a refugee from Baniza village, who has lived the last 49 years in Australia was denied entry . With her Australian passport she does not require a visa. But because her passport has the Macedonian village name she was turned back.. Enraged her and her husband (behind her) give interviews to the small amount of Macedonian and Greek media on the border.
