Dilba Gadole who was his neighbour as a child, Dilba who is 97 years old
remembers him clearly being nearly 20 years older than him, and they talk
about the time back then. Dilba remembers the time when the soldiers came
and took all the young people in the village, many were killed in a big
battle the same day "I cried and cried" she says. She also tells
Stojan how empty the village was after so many people fled during the
war, and how people were brought from other parts of Greece to repopulate
